The me stuff: I grew up in the Chicago suburbs, went to college in Iowa, worked in downtown Chicago for a few years, moved to Utah. Avid biker, skier, builder. Built my own camper van. Married, no kids, two cats.
The work stuff: I started out in a digital agency (do they still call them that?), moved to ActiveCampaign in 2016 as their second designer. Employee number 50! Rode the rocket ship for the better part of a decade as we grew from 50 people to more than 1200. I’ve helped design offices, hired hundreds of engineers, product managers, and other designers. Had a lot of fun along the way.
